It is also home to various mammals apart from wild ass such as the Indian wolf
Beautiful ride from zinzuwada side. Must visit. Salt farming areas are plenty inside little rann. You could also visit little rann while traversing through maliya samakhiyali route
Breathtaking views of the muddy desert, with ghudkhar (wild ass) roaming around. Also, quite a few migratory birds(including flamingos) could be found here. We were lucky to see a fox quickly run thru to the bushes.
It is about 180km from Ahamdabad and a must see place for nature and wildlife lovers in winter as it is very very hot in summer. There are so many migratory birds like flamingo, crane, pelican, stork etc and animals like blue bull, black buck, wild ass, jackal etc. Jungle safari is made by various travel agencies.
