Rules of engagement


  1. We are all friends here with a common love and profession ie trekking,outdoor,organising and leading treks.
  2. we all are each others first point of contact
  • help in the field
  • sharing of contact
  • sharing of field related problems
  • sharing of current conditions in the areas for trek,camp
  • sharing of guide,food,other local help contacts
  1. Trek Leaders Meetups are for the benefit of the Trek Leaders community as a whole, not specific businesses or individuals. All actions taken as an event organizer are with the best interest of the community in mind.
  2. Membership in the local Trek Leaders group meets are open to all trek leaders who wish to join, regardless of ability, skill, financial status, or any other criteria.
  3. Trek Leaders Meets are volunteer-run .
  4. Trek Leaders groups allow events to be organized by any reliable/trusted member of the community.
  5. Meetups are welcoming places where everyone works to foster an accepting environment which is free of discrimination, incitement to violence, promotion of hate, etc
  6. A Trek Leaders Meetups can be organized and run by local communities, any trek Leader can show leadership and no single person is necessarily the owner of what may be organized or hosted.
