Visapur Fort built on a vast plateau & at a bit higher elevation than the adjacent Lohagad. Within the fort caves for grain & ammunition storage, rock cut water cisterns, a decorated arch and ruins of old buildings gives glimpse of fort architecture of bygone era. The two roofless buildings surrounded by veranda walls believed once been the Government offices. The remnants of a large stone-built house are known as the palace. In addition to a huge carving of Hanuman, there are also several temples dedicated to him scattered all over the place. Hanuman (or Maruti) was likely the patron deity of Visapur fort.
Twenty two rock cut caves of the 2nd Century BC just near to base another highlight. The main attraction is Large “Chaitygriha” consists of 27 pillars in two different rows, semicircle at back end & stone “Stupa”.

Meeting point – Lonavala station at 08:00 am
Join the group & move towards Visapur fort base by local vehicle.

Reach at base within an hour. Finish Breakfast & start the trek around 9:30 am.
Reach top of the fort within one & half hours. Explore the fort & enjoy view.
Will start Descend around 1:30 pm
Visit Bhaje caves enroute.
Reach at base around 03:30 pm and Lunch.
Move towards Lonavala station after lunch.
Event concludes with lots of beautiful memories.

People may board same train from their respective stations of convenience.
Missing the train is missing Monsoon Trek to Visapur, no refund will be provided.

► Polluting trek route/ camp site is strictly prohibited. Strictly no littering throughout the event/ trek.
► You acknowledge that the photographs taken during the activity which can be used for publicity purpose. You consent to let organisers photograph you and let them to use for publicity purpose & also consent to allow organisers to use the photograph clicked by you for publicity purpose.
► There is possibility of injury during activities & programmes and you are aware that outdoor activities bears inborn risk of personal injury.
► You are joining an outdoor activity where any incident/ Natural calamity may happen & you agree that organiser shall not be held responsible for the any accident, mishap (including death) caused by any circumstances (artificial or natural).
► During emergency situation, your consent to any medical treatment recommended by a qualified medical practitioner (this could include inoculations, blood transfusions, surgery or the use of anaesthetic). Read *Medical Disclaimer*
► You realise a certain level of acceptable behaviour is mandatory to participate in outdoor activities and that you may excluded from activities if this level is not maintained. You acknowledge event leaders right to expel you from the group if you does not follow instruction of the leader/ misbehave. Further you consent once you are expelled from the group; organisers & leaders does not owe any kind of liability towards you.

If for some reason you wish to cancel your trek/ event, an email intimation needs to be sent to “[email protected]”. Cancellation requests are not taken over phone. However, you can phone to check whether your cancellation has been processed.

1. If cancellation is done prior to 10 days of outing 75% will be refunded.
2. If done prior to 5 days of outing 50% will be refunded
3. After that, no refund will be provided

It is mandatory that you visit your personal physician before enrolling for the trip if you suffer from any illness of any kind and disclose the same and your medical history to the organizers of the trip so that best possible arrangements can be carried out post approval. As organizers of the trip, we will be responsible for providing basic first aid throughout the trip. In case of unexpected mishaps or accidents, we will arrange for the injured patron to be taken to the nearest medical hospital wherever possible. The medical expenses will have to be borne by the patrons themselves.
