The Land of Happiness BHUTAN, the nation along the eastern Himalayan range. Bhutan endowed with most serene and astonishing landscapes, amidst snow-capped mountains and lush green forested gorges. The country acquires amazing environmental benchmarks “Carbon Neutral”.
Magnificent and unique architectures of Dzongs and Monasteries, reminiscence of ancient Buddhists culture. These ornate structures are primal part of picturesque countryside, along the mountain cliffs and crystal clear rivers.
With its vibrant peoples with Gross Happiness, ancient cultures and communities, textiles and handicrafts, outrageous archery competitions, high-altitude trekking trails, and stunning flora and fauna offers unique traveller inspiration.
Day 1 –
Bagdogra Airport – Phuentsholing
Meet our team member on arrival at Bagdogra Airport and transfer to Phuentsholing (961 ft.) – The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India. It is a thriving commercial centre on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. On arrival check in at the hotel.
Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.
Day 2 –
Phuentsholing – Thimphu
After breakfast complete the immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On arrival check in at the hotel. After settling in will visit Kuensel Phodrang – worlds’ largest sitting Buddha statue; BBS Tower – place to view Thimpu Valley; Takin reserve – a place to watch Bhutans’ National Animal Takin.
Back to Hotel and rest.
Overnight stay at Thimphu
Day 3 –
Thimphu – Sightseeing
Go again for sightseeing in Thimpu.
Taschi Chhoe Dzong – seat of Bhutan’s gov’t and Royal offices; National Memorial Chorten (Monument built in 1974 to honour the 3rd King of Bhutan; Jigme Dorji Wangchuck); Folk Heritage Museum and Bhutan Postal Museum.
Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 4 –
Thimphu – Punakha
Today will head to Punakha, capital of Bhutan from 17th till onset of 20th Century.
After breakfast drive to Punakha, On the way Stop at Dochu-La-Pass (3150 mts.) to view the higher Himalayas.
Places of interest:
Druk Wangyal Lhakhang – a monastery built as a tribute to the 4th King of Bhutan
Chimmi Lhakhang – known for its fertility shrine
Punakha Dzong – built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness).
Overnight stay at Punakha.
Day 5 –
Punakha – Paro
After breakfast will head to Paro.
On arrival check in at the hotel. After settling for a while, will leave for sightseeing.
Places of interest:
National Museum – also known as Ta Dzong and located just above Paro Dzong, in an ancient building that used to be the watch tower
Ugyen Pelri Palace – a Royal place built around 1930
Dumtse Lhakhang – an unusual temple built in the shape of a chorten and was built in early 1400. This temple was designed with three different levels representing heaven, earth and hell
Rinpung Dzong – built in the year 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, the first spiritual and temporal ruler of Bhutan
Kyichu Lhakhang – one of the 108 monasteries that are said to have been constructed by King Sogten Gampo in one night
Travel back to hotel after sightseeing
Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 6 –
Trek to Tiger’s Nest
Day for pilgrimage hike to one of Bhutan’s most sacred monument, Taktsang Goemba, also known as Tiger’s Nest
After breakfast, will travel to basecamp to start the hike. The trek is 4 – 5 hours round trip depending on the pace of participants.
Going to this monastery offers a spectacular view of this sacred place that is perched on a cliff 900m above the valley floor
After the trek, will transfer back to hotel and rest
Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 7 –
Paro – Phuentsholing
(Distance: 188 kms. / Driving Time: 5 hrs. / Altitude of Phuentsholing: 293 mts.)
After breakfast, free time for guests until check out
Will start the travel back to Phuntsholing; check in upon arrival

Day 8 –
Phuntsholing – Bagdogra Airport
After breakfast check out from the hotel and depart to Bagdogra Airport.
The tour concludes at Bagdogra airport with pleasant memories.
♦ This is Backpacking version of trip – Sometimes low on Leisure and But always High on experiences.

- Any kind of refund for unutilised tour plan services.
- Any meals apart from the ones mentioned above.
- Any other tax or service charge, stay charge that could be enforced during this period will be Extra and need to be borne by Paricipants.

► Smoking, Chewing tobacco & consumption of Alcohol is strictly not allowed on the trek/ programme.
► Everyone is expected to follow safety protocols defined by the leaders.
► Polluting trek route/ camp site is strictly prohibited. Strictly no littering throughout the event/ trek.
► You acknowledge that the photographs taken during the activity which can be used for publicity purpose. You consent to let organisers photograph you and let them to use for publicity purpose & also consent to allow organisers to use the photograph clicked by you for publicity purpose.
► There is possibility of injury during activities & programmes and you are aware that outdoor activities bears inborn risk of personal injury.
► You are joining an outdoor activity where any incident/ Natural calamity may happen & you agree that organiser shall not be held responsible for the any accident, mishap (including death) caused by any circumstances (artificial or natural).
► During emergency situation, your consent to any medical treatment recommended by a qualified medical practitioner (this could include inoculations, blood transfusions, surgery or the use of anaesthetic). Read *Medical Disclaimer*
► You realise a certain level of acceptable behaviour is mandatory to participate in outdoor programmes/ treks and that you may excluded from programmes/ treks if this level is not maintained. You acknowledge event leaders right to expel you from the group if you does not follow instruction of the leader/ misbehave. Further you consent once you are expelled from the group; organisers & leaders does not owe any kind of liability towards you.

It is mandatory that you visit your personal physician before enrolling for the trip if you suffer from any illness of any kind and disclose the same and your medical history to the organizers of the trip so that best possible arrangements can be carried out post approval. As organizers of the trip, we will be responsible for providing basic first aid throughout the trip. In case of unexpected mishaps or accidents, we will arrange for the injured patron to be taken to the nearest medical hospital wherever possible.
