DarkGreen Adventures invites you to an off-beat trek to Mrugagad Fort. This fort is a very less explored trekking destination and is perfect for the ones seeking to discover new places. The fort lies in the Khopoli region and the hike up to the top is a perfect combination of easy trail walk through forest canopy, followed by a very exciting patch of easy rock climbing and ending with climbing the rock cut steps on the fort. On the top of the fort, you will find water cisterns and remnants of old houses. The view from the top is a view to cherish and will make the climb worth it.
This trek will be led by Parth Upadhyaya who became the youngest Mumbaikar to ever climb Mount Everest on 23rd May 2019. With years of mountaineering experience under his belt, he will be sharing his experiences to the top of the world during the trek.
